I have no doubt that you have heard the old saying “find a penny, pick it up, it will bring you lots of luck”

One of the highlights of my day is to take my parcels down to my small local post office which is also an old fashioned corner store, yes one of the few exsiting. A busy little place that reminds me of being a little girl again. The glass counter has a large selection of lollies that the children love to stand in front of and with smiles on their faces go about chosing this lolly and that lolly to be placed with love into a small white paper bay. This is an exciting time after school where they come to specially chose their bag of lollies.  No child is rushed and I am sure an extra lolly or two finds it way into the bag with pure love.  The owners Di and Tom have this ‘way’.  Everyone is treated the same.  All are welcomed and called by their first name: now that’s a skill.  As an ex-nurse of 30 years I often wonder how do they remember everyone’s name, (I was trained to forget names so that confidentiality was not breached).  They are always busy but never too busy for a kind word, a smile or to serve anyone who enters their business of pure loving service.

I love to have my afternoon chat with either Di or Tom.  Di loves to talk about all things spiritual, it’s an area of interest to her.  Tom loves to know how my business is going and what plans are coming up with it.  They have a genuine interest in the Angel Lady who just happen to land on their doorstep from out of the blue about two and a half years ago.

I watch their successful thriving business in awe every visit and I learn.  My 5 minutes of free learning each day of what it takes to run a successful heart centered business.  I feel like the Angels have sent me here for many reasons.

Their son often works for them also to help them out during busy times.  The other day he stepped outside and as I went to get into the car there on the ground were three rubber bands. ” Hmmm well look at that!” I said,”I know what that sign means!”  “What does it mean Michelle?” he asks. So I went on to tell him my story about the Doctor I worked with for many many years who chewed on a rubber band and our connection.  You see, he didn’t look like a doctor, he looked more like a farmer. He loved his clydesdale horses and would come in with his work boots on, pants falling down, despite suspenders and chewing on his rubber band like an old cow (with all due respect!).  This  man ran a phenominal medical practice, the old fashioned Doctor, worked seven days a week and was on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  He also had a Harvard Business Degree, not many people knew that, but he had spoke about it with me on many occasions.  So now since his passing three years ago, you guessed it, I find rubber bands being left for me especially when my focus is on my business or when I am going to do something related to my business.

Yesterday I was in the postoffice talking with Di and Tom’s son once again as he processed my parcels.  Suddenly I looked down on the floor and there at my feet was the most shining sparkling $2.00 coin.  I bent down and picked it up and sprouted “find a penny, pick it up, it will bring you lots of luck!” and then immeditatley gave it to Tom’s son.  He looked at me and instantly said “why aren’t you keeping it?”  I said “I am happy to pass it onto others”.  I knew his words were what the Angels call ‘Golden Tongued Wisdom’.  I went back to my car with his words ringing in my ears.  “So Michelle, why didn’t you keep it!”  I know that coins are left by the Abundance Angels. They left the coin for me and I saw it because my 30 year nursing career trained me to be extremely observant but my immediate action was to give it away.  I then sat and talked with my Angels.  I said thank you for the sign that abundance was coming to me and I say thank you for the business lesson too. I promised my Angels that if they left me another coin the outcome would be different. I promised to be just as greatful but also to keep it next time.   I knew in my heart that to run a well oiled heart centered business like Di and Tom’s that I needed to be able to receive money and hold it comfortably before giving it away and returning it to the Divine energetic flow of universal abundance.  I honestly c an’t remember prior to this day the last time I found a coin.

So these things happen, you pay attention at the time and then you don’t think of them again.  Until this morning less than 24 hours later I went to check you guessed it my mail box at the front of my home.  I noticed that our bin had been emptied so I went and bought it in to sit along the side fence behind the mailbox and there it was, you guessed it another $2.00 coin, not as shiny as yesterdays but there on the ground waiting for me.  I was so excited a second chance to say yes to the Abundance Angels.  Yes I found it, picked it up and said yes, its going to bring me lots of buisness luck!  Straight inside to place my Angel coin on my money altar.  It sits there proudly next to the green and gold abundance feather the Angels left me last week.

We are human beings with God given free will.  You can accept your Angel signs, walk through your open doors, follow your guidance and intuition or chose not to. It really is just a choice wether you are ready to receive a miracle.  May this little story give you food for thought and encourage you to accept wealth and abundance into your life and keep it.

Michelle’s True Story:

The other day I went to the fridge and guess what there was no food! That’s right I had been head down in the Angel office for so long I had neglected to stock up on our supplies.  So I decided enough is enough, time to go shopping.

I arrived at the shopping center and out of the car with my focus purely on the list I had to get at the grocery shop.  Then all of a sudden my attention was redirected to a tiny pink falling feather that was coming down a little way in front of me.  I watched in amazement. This is my favourite Angel sign of all time.  With ease and grace the little pink feather landed on the road just up in front of me.  I so so wanted to go and pink it up but I just knew someone was watching me.  So I thought “oh well I will just leave it there for someone else to find”.

I proceeded to go ahead and do my grocery shopping.  By the time I got out of the shops the sun was setting.  I arrived at my car and proceed to pack all my goodies into the car. I then return my trolley to the trolley bay just over from my car.  As I was walking back I heard a lady say “Michelle is that you?”  I looked up saw that is was Mary.  Mary was in a nursing group ahead of me so she was one of my seniors when I was a student.  She was always so lovely to me as a student, I remember that fondly.  I hadn’t spoken with Mary for many years but I had seen her a few times over the years working in a haberdashery shop.

What a lovely conversation we had discussing our nursing years and the fact that we had  both left the nursing profession. We had a very personal and in depth discussion about our nursing careers and reflected on how we were now called to serve people in other ways.

We talked fondly about our children and their achievements, our husbands and life in general.  Time just seem to stop still as we reminisced and reconnected.

It wasn’t until I got back in the car that I remembered the pink falling feather.  Yes it landed right where we had our conversation!

I will always fondly remember Mary’s Pink Falling Angel Feather.
