Angel Sign The Gerbera

The flower of happiness.
In 1884 Gerbera Daisies were discovered in South Africa by a Scotsman called Robert Jameson.  The flower was eventually bred to create even brighter and larger blooms.  The gerbera is now the fifth most popular flower in the world behind the rose, carnation, chrysanthemum and the tulip.  The Meanings associated with the daisy include purity and innocence; plus the daisy is historically known as the ‘symbol of beauty’.  The gerbera variety of daisy holds an added meaning of ‘cheerfulness’ as it is associated with so many bright colours.

Look what the Angels have delivered into my shop; bright orange gerberas!!!!  Many of you may have heard me talk about my orange colour sign that just doesn’t stop!!!!!  So what does the orange gerbera mean?  The brightly coloured orange gerbera is associated with feelings of creativity, happiness, warmth and sunshine.  To give an orange gerbera to someone expresses a message of true friendship and kindness.  These inspirational prints are the perfect present for a friend and will last for years; not like a gerbera in a vase which unfortunately don’t last very long.

Well Angels looks like I am going to get my creative juices flowing again soon!!

Till next time Angel Blessings of sunshine and warmth!
